What we collect
If you request a quote through a widget: your name, email, phone number, the area you live in and the answers you give about your painting job. This information is shared with the painting business whose quote page you used — this is the purpose of the service.
If you create a business account: your business name, contact details and, where you choose a Google listing during setup, the public details of that listing (address, phone, website).
How we use it
To produce your estimate, deliver it by email, notify the business of the lead, and let the business manage its leads in a dashboard. We use Resend to deliver email and Anthropic's Claude to generate estimate summaries and reply drafts. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Connecting your Google account (Gmail)
A business owner may connect their Google account so PaintQuote can manage their customer email in one place.
When you connect Gmail you grant PaintQuote permission to read your email
(gmail.readonly), send email on your behalf (gmail.send), and see
your account's email address. We request the minimum needed — we do not request permission to
modify, organise, or delete anything in your mailbox.
How we use Gmail data: we read incoming messages to match them to the right lead in your dashboard, show you the conversation thread, and generate suggested reply drafts. We send only the messages you choose to send — nothing is ever sent automatically. We store the message details needed to provide these features (sender, subject, snippet/body, thread reference) against the matching lead in your account.
How we don't use it: we do not sell your Google data, use it for advertising, or use it to develop, improve, or train generalised AI/ML models. Reply drafts are produced by our AI provider solely to deliver that feature to you, and that provider does not train its models on your data. No humans read your Google data except where strictly necessary to provide or secure the feature, to comply with the law, or with your explicit consent.
Your Google authorization tokens are encrypted at rest. You can disconnect at any time from Settings → Email in your dashboard, or revoke access in your Google Account permissions — we delete the stored tokens on disconnect.
PaintQuote's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Where it lives
Data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure. Basic technical logs (IP address, user agent) are kept for abuse prevention and rate limiting.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Email apps@wiremo.co and we'll handle it within 30 days. If you requested a quote, you can also contact the painting business directly — they are the controller of the lead they received.
